April 19th, 2008 brought the arrival of Moons' first foal "Nanook". She's a beautiful dark bay snowcap filly! Not bad for his first lap around the track. See her photo on the "Foals" link on his photo page. Looking forward to a colorful future!

Hi. I'm in love with the old-blood appaloosas. Their intelligence, responsiveness, trainability and spirit lend to a fun ride and friendship that will last for many years. I was fortunate enough to have MOONS MIRROR IMAGE's parents at my place when he was foaled here. His daddy stood so calm for the shoer and all the handling we did with him. My young stallion inherited this and his momma's drive and determination for a beautiful mix. Being born a fewspot tri-color leopard was just icing on the cake.
My special interest is in not only preserving old foundation appaloosa bloodlines, but also exploring the mix between appys and arabs: the "araloosa". I've had three of these horses and they are more fun than all get out.
